Deborah works directly with financial advisors Patty Hammond, CFP® and Jonathan Meaney, CFP®. She plans and prepares portfolio reviews that support the client’s objectives and risk tolerance. In addition, Deborah conducts investment research, initiates account paperwork, facilitates new client’s transition to CFM and assists clients with cash flow analysis, retirement and college planning and distributions.
Deborah has always been passionate about personal Financial Planning and after 15 years in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Payroll and Employee Benefits with Nestle and Nuvista, she has transitioned to Financial Planning here at Carter. Her breadth of experience, combined with her results-oriented approach and commitment to excellence, ensure that clients’ expectations are always met, and most often, surpassed.
A graduate of Queen’s University in Canada with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Deborah recently passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification exam after completing the Financial Planning Certificate Program at Southern Methodist University. She holds the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
Deborah lives in University Park with her husband, Harold, and their three children. Deborah is an active member with her sons in Young Men’s Service League, a non-profit organization that initiates and encourages young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community. She is also a member of La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas and is actively involved in her children’s school. She enjoys traveling, running, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
