Speakers:
Mary Green joined Federated Hermes in 2019 as a Vice President and Client Portfolio Manager focused on Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Investing. Mary has 25 years of investment experience in the industry working for GE Capital and Bear Stearns. Mary received her bachelor’s degree in Asian studies and her MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. With her expertise in ESG, she will discuss the effect this type of investing has had on the industry, why it works, and if it is here to stay.
Larry Adam joined Raymond James in 2018 as the Chief Investment Officer. He held dual roles of CIO of the Americas and Global Chief Investment Strategist for Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management and sat on both Deutsche Bank’s U.S. and global investment committees. Larry received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business with a concentration in finance from Loyola University Maryland, where he also serves as an adjunct professor for international finance. He earned his CFA designation in 2001 and his CFP designation in 2004. Larry will discuss his Quarterly Coordinates fourth-quarter outlook in regard to inflation, investing, interest rates, tax rates, and more.
Andy Scripps joined Communities Foundation of Texas in July 2020 as Director of Strategic Relationships after a successful career as the Deputy Director of Strategy at CFT’s Educate Texas. Andy also has experience as an international tax strategy consultant and math teacher. Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Texas and a master’s in finance and economics from the Manchester Business School in Manchester, England. Andy will discuss CFT’s role in the community as well as strategies to maximize your tax savings, as you consider contributing to non-profit organizations and charitable foundations that are dearest to your heart.
