Carter Financial Management Hosts Its First Ladies Literary Luncheon with Special Guest Natalie Musgrave Dossett

by | Nov 5, 2024

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, Carter Financial Management had the pleasure of hosting our inaugural Ladies Literary Luncheon, an event designed to celebrate the love of literature among our esteemed female clients and some of our wonderful team members.

This gathering marked a meaningful day filled with engaging conversations, shared passions, and the inspiring journey of
one author’s commitment to her craft.

Our featured guest was none other than Natalie Musgrave Dossett, a long-time friend of Ellenore Baker, CFP®, and an accomplished author. Natalie’s recently published novel, Sarita, takes readers into a world as vibrant and complex as her journey to complete it. With grace and poise, she treated us to a reading from the first few paragraphs of her novel, captivating the room and leaving us all
eager for more.

Following the reading, Natalie kindly answered questions, offering insights into the meticulous twelve-year journey behind Sarita. As she shared the joys and challenges she faced, the room was buzz with admiration for her dedication and resilience. Her candid stories offered a unique glimpse into the life of a writer, making our first Ladies Literary Luncheon a truly inspiring and
memorable event.

We look forward to more opportunities like this to come together, inspire, and celebrate the achievements of women in all fields. Thank you to all who joined us, and a special thanks to Natalie for making our first Ladies Literary Luncheon unforgettable.
