In Memoriam: Becky Bell, CFP®

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear long-time member, Becky Bell, CFP®, President of Carter Financial Management. Becky was a pillar of our community, renowned not only for her professional expertise but also for her kindness, dedication, and warm spirit. 

Becky’s journey with our community was marked by her unwavering commitment to excellence and her genuine care for her colleagues and clients. Her contributions to the field of financial planning were significant, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside her. 

More than just a respected professional, Becky was a friend and mentor to many. Her ability to connect on a personal level, coupled with her insightful guidance, made her an invaluable member of our community. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued and supported, and her infectious positivity inspired those around her to strive for greater heights. 

Becky’s leadership at Carter Financial Management was characterized by her forward-thinking vision and compassionate approach. She nurtured a culture of integrity and excellence, fostering a team that shared her passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals. Under her stewardship, Carter Financial Management flourished, reflecting her steadfast dedication and exceptional leadership. 

Services for Becky will be at the First United Methodist Church in McKinney located at 315 N. Church St. McKinney, TX 75069 on Saturday, June 1 at 1:00 pm. 

In addition to her professional achievements, Becky held an MBA, further showcasing her dedication to education and excellence. Becky was also a proud former student of Texas A&M. In her memory, Bill and Fran Carter have established a scholarship fund in the Financial Planning Department, where Becky had devoted her time, energy, and encouragement to both students and staff. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations be sent to:

As we reflect on Becky’s life, we are reminded of the profound impact she had on so many. Her legacy is one of generosity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her profession and community. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit, values, and the countless memories we shared will continue to live on. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with Becky’s family and friends during this difficult time. May her memory be a blessing to all who were touched by her remarkable life. We will miss her dearly but will carry forward the lessons and values she imparted to us. 

Rest in peace, Becky Bell. Your legacy will forever be a part of our community at Carter Financial.
